From Western Kansas to Prairie Perfection

I grew up in western Kansas, where working with your hands was simply part of life. Some of my earliest experience came from working alongside my grandfather on countless projects around his home, including remodeling much of it. I helped my uncle build his shed and later worked on a farm, pouring concrete for farmhand houses, framing new sheds, and tackling whatever else needed to be done.

From there, I framed houses and built decks before my career took me into software engineering and electrical controls engineering. I eventually worked my way into engineering management, leading multimillion-dollar projects for multibillion-dollar companies. That experience taught me how to manage complex work, meet deadlines, communicate clearly, and hold myself accountable for the outcome.

But I never stopped missing the satisfaction of creating something tangible. I missed working with my hands and building structures that could be as useful and precise as they are beautiful.

Prairie Perfection Builders brings those two parts of my life together. I bring a craftsman’s respect for the work, an engineer’s analytical mindset, a sharp eye for detail, and the project discipline required to turn an idea into a finished structure.

This is about more than constructing buildings. It’s about creating work that stands with pride on the prairie—and building something lasting for my family.

When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my three kids or heading off on an adventure with my partner, Elizabeth.
